The Sounds are that kind of band you discover and immediately love, or hate. I discovered them through the Rex The Dog album I posted earlier. It's like CSS meets Blondie, so it's pretty much amazing. Also, their latest album was produced by Jeff Saltzman, the man behind The Killers' Hot Fuss. Literally awesome.

How very clever and double-sensed...
I am not going to lie, I LOVE GOSSIP GIRL! If you think is a cheesy show about stupid rich spoiled brats that's ok, but you can still enjoy this.
From The Kills to Crystal Castles, and including The Ting Things, The Pierces and The Kooks, this soundtrack finds a way to include a lot of hip bands you've never heard of, but when you do you become officially addicted.

This band (?) should be a success, yet they are still pretty much unknown, though you might have heard to the catchyness of Find a New Way, which peaked at #103 in the U.S.
This is their debut album and even though it gets old quickly with a few listens (at least for me), it still features some great tunes like Take It or Leave It and Discotech.

Nevertheless, this album contains some of the most brilliant electrodance tunes i've ever heard. Songs like Acceptable In The 80's, Certified or The Girls deserve to be remembered as party anthems.
